Executive Director

Summer Kelly, RN, BSN, IBCLC

Summer was instrumental in initiating the first hospital program using pasteurized donor human milk in a Chicago-area Level III neonatal intensive care until where she worked as a nurse and lactation consultant. She is currently completing her Master of Science degree in Biology.

Board President

Marissa Grossenbach

Grossenbach delivered her son prematurely in a Chicago area hospital. During his NICU stay, she began to look for alternatives to formula. She found that donor milk was not available locally and set out to assemble a team to create a milk bank. She has 16 years of experience in project management and is a member of the Board of Education for Illinois School District 103.

Medical Director

Anne Eglash, MD, IBCLC, FABM
Dr. Eglash is a co-founder of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and the Mothers' Milk Association of Wisconsin. A board-certified family physician, she practices clinical medicine in Mount Horeb WI and teaches medical students and residents.

Co-Medical Director

Kathleen Marinelli, MD, IBCLC, FABM, FAAP
Dr. Marinelli is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, is a neonatologist and Director of Lactation Support Services at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and is chair-elect of the United States Breastfeeding Committee.

Board Vice President

Krystal Revai, MD
Krystal Revai is a pediatrician with 15 years private practice experience, with a concentration in breastfeeding and lactation management. She is a fellow trained in Academic General Pediatrics, and received a Masters in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Krystal is a Fellow of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and a member of the Illinois chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics

Board Members

Maura McDonald, RN, BSN
MacDonald is an OB/GYNE nurse and La Leche League Leader. She has a decade of corporate credit and lending experience in recovery & restructuring, media & telecom, and securitization, and general middle market enterprises.

Jequeatta Upton Smith, MPH
Smith serves as a Director in a busy Chicago hospital. In graduate school she trained with Mary Rose Tully, one of the founding members of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America.
