Thank you for your support!
Join us for the 6th annual Race to Save Tiny Lives! This is our first year as a fully operational milk bank, distributing thousands of ounces of life-saving donor milk to babies throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. Help us celebrate with a morning of running (or walking), and breakfast afterwards! Your race registration includes a race t-shirt, goodie bag and as many pancakes as you can eat.
2015 marked the 5th annual Race to Save Tiny Lives 5K Run and 3K Walk in beautiful and historic Long Grove. This family friendly event is organized by the Rotary Club of Long Grove each year to raise money and awareness for charitable causes in the community.
The 5K run is a USATF certified, chip timed event with medals awarded to winners in a variety of age categories. If you have little ones, The 3K walk is the perfect distance for babywearing or pushing a stroller.
Milk Bank WGL is also proud to offer a VIP nursing mother’s station with snacks, play area, and diaper changing station. After the race, enjoy a pancake breakfast, included with every registration, and stay to see who will win our fundraising awards.
Last year, Milk Bank WGL supporters raised over $6,800!
In the weeks leading up to the race, many of our participants collect pledges to support their efforts. We hope that each participant will set a personal fundraising goal of $100. Fantastic prizes are awarded to the top fundraisers. You may fundraise and race as an individual or as part of a team that works together to fundraise for the milk bank.
Can’t make it to Long Grove this year? Consider a financial contribution to the success of the Milk Bank WGL.
