About Milk Bank WGL
Mothers’ Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes (Milk Bank WGL) saves lives by screening and pasteurizing donor milk for our tiniest and most vulnerable patients: premature babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). We also distribute donor milk among other pediatric patients, including those that face a clinical need for human milk. In addition to milk processing, we engage in research, public health initiatives, and community outreach and education. Employees of Milk Bank WGL are essential healthcare workers, serving families in Wisconsin and Illinois. Each staff member plays a key role in fulfilling our mission.
